Statements:

I'm a trader, and my brokers offer me statements that show:

(a) My Name/Account#/Address   (b) Trades   (c) Dividends/Interest/Capital-Gain-Distributions
(d) Asset Transfers-in/out   (e) Opening/Closing Balance   (f) Splits   (g) Matured/Called Structured Notes.

Typically I have large number of trades in a month, therefore it's not unusual for me to get a statement that runs in 10s (at times even 100s) of pages. (I've set-up e-statements with all my brokers, so I don't get paper copies !!) Here's a small screen-clipping of a typical statement for me.

Similarly Zuora offers capability of generating statements that can show:

1. Name of Compnay, Address, Logo
2. Name of the Customer, Account#, Address, Email-ID
3. Current Balance for statement period
4. Invoices (Invoice#, Invoice Date, Due Date, Invoice Amount, Balance, ...)
5. Payments (Payment#, Payment Amount, Payment Date ...)
6. Credit Memos (CM#, CM Amount, CM Date ...)
7. .... etc ...

A significant shortcoming of Zuora is that there is no Statement "opening balance" available.

Customization:

The default template can be customized using different objects/fields from Zuora.

The objects that can appear on the statements are:

2. Bill To Contact
3. Credit Memo
4. Debit Memo
5. Invoice
6. Invoice Item Adjustment
7. Payment
8. Refund
9. Sold To Contact
